Frozen food distributor Central Foods has launched individual portions of its most popular flavour of roulade.

Gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians, the hand-rolled and finished Menuserve raspberry and white chocolate roulades are now available in individual 90g portions for foodservice operators.

The meringue roulades are filled with fresh whipped cream, home-made raspberry sauce and white chocolate chips... creating a super centre-of-the-plate dessert that both looks and tastes delicious.

“The Menuserve range of roulades is very popular with our foodservice customers, and the raspberry and white chocolate is our best-selling flavour,” said Gordon Lauder, MD of Central Foods.

“Visually, they are stunning, they taste great, and have a home-made look too. We are very pleased to now offer this particular flavour of the dessert in individual portions, and therefore help reduce wastage and improve profit margins for operators, too.”

Central Foods offers a range of eight different flavours of roulade, some of which are also available in individual portions.

Perfect for restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, cafés, and other catering outlets, the roulades are all free from wheat and gluten, and therefore suitable for coeliacs and those on a gluten-free diet.

The roulades are frozen at the peak of quality, and each portion is consistent every time – providing a generous plate coverage that’s sure to go down well with customers.
