Central Foods has unveiled a stunning new meringue roulade that’s perfect for summer menus.
The Menuserve Strawberry and Prosecco Meringue Roulade is ideal for the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrations, as well as traditional annual summer events such as Wimbledon and the Henley Regatta.
Featuring a very classic British combination of strawberries and cream, the hand-rolled roulade is made of pink strawberry flavoured meringue, which is filled with fresh whipped dairy cream flavoured with real Prosecco, and a home-made strawberry compôte.
The Menuserve Strawberry and Prosecco Meringue Roulade is finished with an eye-catching, velvety dusting of dried raspberry pieces to create a superb dessert that’s suitable for vegetarians and gluten-free customers too.

The new flavour joins a range of meringue roulades offered by Central Foods to food service operators, including Black Forest, Banoffee, Cappuccino, Raspberry & Hazelnut, Raspberry & White Chocolate, and Lemon.
Each pack of the ‘thaw and serve’ Menuserve Strawberry and Prosecco Roulade contains two roulades, with a recommended ten portions per roulade.
